Below are the images associated with my final concept for the [scapegoat] display booth. The major challenge for this final push was dealing with control points for all the lines. Since the wall curves and slopes all the lines along it did not have the same number of control points while at the same time the points did not occur at the same frequency. I tried to rebuild the lines [both before and after extrusion] to be able to have more direct control over the manipulation, but for some reason the rebuild command would generate corrupted control points. Instead of rolling curves, rebuilt lines would come off at sharp angles.
Couldn’t figure that one out, so I just made due with what I had. I simply had to be more creative and careful with the control points, which actually lent itself to the design [not having absolute control] and certain things just emerged based on the existing parameters.
One of the interior walls was taken and the ‘fins’ were lofted to create a solid surface, but also showed the seams intentionally. I took that file down to be CNC’d, so hopefully it will generate some decent photos [at which point I'll hit up another entry].
